Dokuz Eylül University Bergama Vocational School was founded on 19th April 2012. The school started to serve with several programs such as Computer Technology, Occupational Health and Safety and Heavy Equipment Operations. Later on Occupational Health And Safety program began the education in 2013. Respectively, Public Relations and Publicity, Logistics and Technology of Alternative Energy Sources programs started teaching actively in our school with the plenty of students. Our school main purpose is to give a qualified and modern education by its young, well-educated and dynamic coworkers. It is also aimed in our school to grow qualified coworkers for the need of sector.

The Computer Technology (IT) Program started the formal education in the 2015-2016 academic year. The Program Language is Turkish. The aim of the program is to produce work power for the different needs of the computer technology area such as software, hardware or digital literacy which has a highly important concept both in our country and all over the world.

The grading system is an obligatory in our school. Relative grade evaluation system is applied to make evaluations for the grading. There are three instructors working in the program as full time instructors. The training period lasts two years. Students who successfully complete all theoretical and applied courses in the program including 40 work-days of practical training, and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, are entitled to receive an Associate Degree. Students who successfully complete the program have a chance to pass through bachelor programs such as computer engineering, computer and software, Informatics, Physics, Space Engineering etc.
